Una
fotocamera e due flash (uno e' fuori dall'inquadratura) sono stati
protetti con asciugamani, sacchetti di plastica, tela e gomma. Sono
stati montati sui rami di una quercia, pronti per passare la
notte di fronte ad un sentiero che di solito e' frequentato dal tasso.

Trappola fotografica
costruita in modo semplice e rudimentale (non e' stata mimetizzata di
proposito), e' collegata alla fotocamera sopra descritta tramite un
cavetto elettrico a due fili. Durante la notte un esemplare di tasso
(meles meles) ha mosso la trappola e si e' scattato una fotografia.

Il
Rilevatore all'infrarosso
o di "corpi caldi" e' un sensore che reagisce ad una variazione rapida
di temperatura, si puo' anche dire al calore di un corpo umano.
Usato come trappola fotografica, appena un animale passa davanti il suo
raggio d'azione viene rilevato e si eccita un rele' creando un
contatto. Basta un cavetto a due fili che collegano il rele' allo
scatto esterno di una fotocamera e la foto e' fatta.Questo
nella foto e' un kit comprato negli anni 80 con poche migliaia di lire.
La scatola misura cm 12 x 8 x 6, all'interno si trova il circuito
completo, coibentato per proteggerlo
dall'umidita'. E' alimentato da una piccola batteria esterna
da 12 volt e puo' rilevare un topolino ad un metro circa di distanza ed
una persona intorno ai dieci metri, con un angolo di campo sui 15 - 20
gradi. In alcuni casi per poter riprendere il
soggetto con una giusta inquadratura e' necessario prevedere da quale
lato arrivera'. La parte negativa e' che conviene usarlo in
giornate (o nottate) prive di vento, questo perche' verrebbero rilevate
le repentine variazioni di temperatura dell'aria con le relative
conseguenze.

fotocamera collegata alla prima (nell'inquadratura) e in modo che
scattassero nello stesso istante. Il soggetto sta uscendo dalla tana,
la trappola e' un rilevatore all'infrarosso sopra descritto e si trova
sopra di lui, ad un metro circa di distanza.

In questa scatola, di cm 15x10x10 circa, si trova un rilevatore
all'infrarosso (70 Euro circa), simile a quello sopra descritto
e sempre alimentato a 12 volt. E' di recente costruzione e
sopporta meglio le repentine variazioni di temperatura ambiente.
Inoltre l'ho modificato in modo da poterlo utilizzare con una
reflex digitale Nikon D70s.

Semplice trappola fotografica costruita con due fili da luce
che sono stati collegati allo scatto esterno della fotocamera.
Il soggetto vi si posa sopra, li fa toccare insieme e avviene lo
scatto.

Questa "rustica" trappoletta e' fatta per poterla
usare con una fotocamera digitale. Sulla sinistra
c’è un piccolo morsetto (coccodrillo) dove si
può applicare un piatto mangiatoia, come in questo caso,
oppure un semplice steccolo
disposto di traverso a un sentiero di
un qualsiasi animale. Con una leggera pressione,
in ogni direzione, questo morsetto fa uscire un pistoncino sul dietro
del blocco centrale, che a sua volta forzando su una lamella, in rame,
la fa toccare con altre due in modo da creare un contatto per far
scattare la fotocamera,
anche se questa e' in stand-by.

Trappola
composta da uno steccolo (prelevato sul luogo), il quale e' stato applicato su
due lamelle in rame di un vecchio interruttore; come si toccano
creano un contatto per far scattare la fotocamera. Per fare
questo basta un leggero movimento dello stecco stesso.

place) and was applied on two thin layers of copper of an old switch.
As soon as the two thin layers touch themselves, they create a contact
which makes the camera work.To do that, a light twig movement

Questo telaio e'
un po' "spartano" ma
molto utile, lo uso soprattutto per fotografare insetti molto piccoli.
Sopra ho montato una fotocamera digitale Nikon D70s con un obiettivo
Nikon 105 macro in manuale, un teleconverter 1,6x e due tubi di
prolunga. I due flash (25 Euro l'uno, n.g. 12) ai lati sono collegati
alla fotocamera tramite cavetto sincro su una presa multipla, in quanto
le fotocellule incorporate potrebbero non funzionare sotto il sole.
L'esposizione e la messa a fuoco sono in manuale, ma a 400 iso la
maggior parte degli scatti vengono esposti bene in 1/500 f 8 alla
minima distanza e f 16 senza tubi di prolunga. Con questi
accessori sull'obiettivo, la profondita' di campo e' molto ridotta e la
messa a fuoco del soggetto e' difficoltosa; cosi' con questo
telaio appoggiato alla spalla e, trattenendo il fiato, riesco a tenere
piu' salda la fotocamera, con maggiori possibilita' di ovviare al problema.

| I built this sholder mount to photograph the little
insects.I put a digital camera Nikon D70s to it above with
Nikon manual objective 105mm, a tele converter 1,6x and two extension
pipes. With these accessories the field depth is much reduced
and the focusing is difficult, this frame helps me very much.

Videocamera che, oltre alla
normale visione diurna ha dei led all'infrarosso per poter vedere anche
nel buio piu' totale alla distanza di alcuni metri, viene collegata ad un
piccolo televisore (alimentato a 12 volt) con un cavo coassiale
lungo una novantina di metri. Nella ruzzola e' avvolto un'altro
cavetto (della stessa lunghezza del cavo coassiale) che serve a
prolungare lo scatto esterno della fotocamera per poter azionare
l'otturatore al momento giusto guardando nel monitor.
